Barack Obama is takin' fireside chats to YouTube. Pretty sweet. It will be interesting to see how else this tech-savvy prez will connect with the people.

You know, I like and support Obama. Perhaps his sketchiness when laying out plans-rhetoric vs hard-core details is due to the fact that he isn't yet president. So I'll cut him some slack on this. More importantly, I'm still jazzed that he can talks about things like creating green technologies though I doubt it will employ 5 million workers. Maybe in 5 years. Not in four. Not now when they're most needed. That sounds way too optimistic. So, apropos my opening gambit, I wish he'd either just tell us his plans or shut up till he can lay out the blueprints. Oh, yeah, I forgot. He's got to get Congress to implement them. Boy oh boy! Maybe Rahm will be the loco-motive on that railroading, eh? Anyhow, I'm glad he's talking because it's better than not talking. I wish he'd call me, the everyperson, so I could advise him to quit the baking the puff pastry until he can give us some filling! Sweet or not, fillings are better than hot air.
boredwell, go to his website, www.change.gov. There is a contact page where you can contact the transition team with your ideas. Pretty cool, if you ask me.
I think putting his address on youtube is a brilliant idea. It will help keep the younger generation involved in the process. They were critically important in this election, and will likely be in the next one as well. I would also like to see these addresses put up as podcasts on iTunes. Then I don't have to go looking for them - they will just automatically download to my computer. :o)
