Barack Obama is an assassin, says Martin

This is just a quick tidbit, but I was kind of shocked, so I wanted to ask for your guys' opinions.

I was just watching tonight's live special Saturday edition of "Larry King Live" on CNN. At one point, analyst Roland Martin said "Barack Obama is an assassin." This caught me off guard, and seemed to catch King off guard as well.

When asked to explain, Martin went on to say that he thinks Obama is calm, cool, and collected like an assassin, and goes straight after his target.

Does this seem like an appropriate analogy to you? It really just brought some terrible imagery to mind for me, and I thought it seemed inappropriate, especially only days before the swearing in.

What do you think?

Also, have you seen any other awkward television moments as hosts and guests discuss the inauguration of our first African-American president?

I think it was a pretty innocent analogy. I see totally the point he is making. A assassin always surprises their target with a attack never making it obvious. I think he's saying Obama makes decision that surprise us all, for better or worse.
